Secret Heliotropes are a jangle avant-folk group based in Burlington, VT. Singer-songwriter Jonathan Kissam and guitarist Ted Looby started playing together in the spring of 2009, blending their many musical influences with tuneful pop songwriting and a punk-rock attitude. They were later joined by the solid rhythm section of Simon Kissam on drums and Jim Lawlor on bass.
